(Alex Gamero is the owner of DiscoveringBelize.com and has lost count of how many hotels and resorts in Belize he's visited.) These villas are located about 4 miles north of San Pedro town. You have to take a water taxi, which runs about every hour, to get in and out of town. On weekends there are boats that run late at night in case you want to stay late in any of the bars in town. The advantage of being north of town is the seclusion. It's quiet and tranquil. This property is all about the villas, which are architectural masterpeices. It's almost hard to do them justice with words, but I'll try. The first striking feature is the space. These villas are massive with vaulted ceilings, 2-story high jungle atrium, sprawling balconies and large windows and french doors flooding the interior with natural light. It's as if all the areas of the house just flow into each other like walking up the spiral staircase into the kitchen and dining room, or walking from the master bedroom straight out to the balcony overlooking the sea. The interior design can best be described as exotic luxury using a lot of local hardwoods, plants, old antiques and art and warm colors and lighting throughout the villa. Just to give you an idea the bedrooms have 4 poster canopy beds and lavish en-suite bathrooms. And of course, you'll find every amenity you can think of from plush bedding, fine dinnerware, TV, DVD and wireless internet. Outside the villa you'll find their pretty unique swimming pool. They call it a "freeform pool". It just curves and winds forming streams and pools around the villas. It's actually quite nice. They also have a tennis court. I recommend these villas to anyone looking for a luxury villa on the beach, especially families or groups since the villas come with 2 to 3 bedrooms.
