This hotel is located in Placencia Village itself, just off of the famous sidewalk and right on the beach. You are within walking distance to many of the restaurants, bars and shops in the village. It's not so much a hotel as it is a guesthouse. George and Lisa are the owners and also your hosts during your stay. They are always around to help. They know a lot about Placencia so if you strike up a convsersation with either of them they can tell you some amazing stories about the village. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, no fancy bells and whistles just a nice room. Some have a view of the beach, a mini refriegerator and air conditioning. One of the nice things about this guesthouse is the communal area downstairs that has a full kitchen. It's a great place to relax and meet the other guests. In fact, Lisa and George foster a communal atmoshpre among guets. Infront of the property, right on the beach, is a large thatched roof palapa with a half dozen hammocks perfect for reading or relaxing. The beach is also very nice dotted by tall coconut trees. The personal service offered by your hosts together with its great location on the beach right in the village make this guesthouse a great value. I recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to be in Placencia Village and enjoys a guesthouse atmosphere.
